Use shortcodes to present any media in a popup sized to fit the current width of the browser’s window,
Install or download from wordpress.org
Tested with WordPress up to 4.6
Use the example to see the results of the Responsive Thickbox shortcode.
The WordPress Thickbox is a handy way to show images and videos in a popup. But Thickboxes are defined with a specific size. If the width of the user’s browser is less than the pre-defined size the user experience is less than ideal.
The Responsive Thickbox plugin addresses this by allowing the the Thickbox popup to be sized dynamcially based on the size of the browser window. If the browser width changes, perhaps because the user changes the width or on a mobile OS the user changes the display orientation, the popup will be resized automatically.
The plugin includes a shortcode builder available from the Tools menu of the WordPress backend. This makes it simple to create the shortcode with correct parameters.
